The UOA Continent Diversion Network is dedicated to providing education, information, support and advocacy for people who have, or plan to have an internal intestinal pouch, to replace the bladder, rectum, or any part of the colon, eliminating the need for an external appliance or collection system.
Members of our network come from a variety of backgrounds and medical conditions, and represent the broad range of surgeries developed to create these pouches, continent ostomies, or diversions. Some examples are: Ileoanal pouches (J, S, or W pouches), Kock pouch, BCIR pouch, and other related internal pouches.
