ORDER

BY THE COMMISSION:

Ryan Moving & Storage, Inc., of Pittsburgh (carrier) furnishes household goods in use services originating in the counties of Allegheny and Westmoreland as more thoroughly described in the order which grants authority at Docket No.A-00084252.

Carrier has filed 4th Revised Page 90 and 1st Revised Page 91-A to Tariff Freight Pa. P.U.C. No. 54 and an affidavit stating that 2013 gross annual intrastate revenues were less than $500,000 and operating ratio was not less than 93%. The request is certified to the Commission for its decision without an oral hearing; the record consists of the proposed tariff and the affidavit.

DISCUSSION AND FINDINGS

Carrier proposes to increase a variety of container prices as well as the hourly three men and vehicle normal complement charge. The average increase for the container prices is 48%. The carrier currently charges $97 per hour and proposes an increase to $112 per hour. The current rates have been in effect since October 29, 2007. It is requested that 4th Revised Page 90 and 1st Revised Page 91-A to Tariff Freight Pa. PUC No. 54 become effective July 14, 2014.

Currently, there are no outstanding fines or assessments against this carrier.

CONCLUSION

We have determined that the carrier has met the requirements of 52 Pa. Code §23.67(c) and Commission Order at P-2011-2257808; THEREFORE,

IT IS ORDERED:

1.  That 4th Revised Page 90 and 1st Revised Page 91-A is approved to become effective July 14, 2014.

2.  That a copy of this order be served upon Ryan Moving & Storage, Inc.
