BYU-Idaho Pathway Scholarship Application for Fall 2015, Winter 2016 and Spring 2016 Terms
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS – You must apply for each Semester you will be attending!

1st TIME APPLICANTS: Application must be submitted on or before September 1, 2015.
1. Explanation of financial need (300-600 words).
2. Tell us about your education/career/life goals (500-800 words). Help us get to know your values.
3. If you are a returned missionary, tell us about your mission experience (300-600 words).
4. Letter of recommendation from a non-family member who has worked with you in some capacity. (See instructions for recommendation letter.)
2nd TIME APPLICANTS: Application must be submitted on or before December 4, 2015.
1. Submit a statement of financial need from an ecclesiastical leader – bishop, a member of the stake presidency, or a mission president. (See instructions for statement of financial need.)
2. A “B” grade average and acceptable attendance from previous term.
3rd TIME APPLICANTS: Application must be submitted on or before April 8, 2016.

We will read your letter carefully because we want to give scholarships to the most deserving scholars. There are several areas that would be helpful to us for you to address:
1. Tell us something about this person that you feel will help us know them better.
2. Speak to the person’s testimony, activity in the Church, and Church callings.
3. Since the determination is made primarily on financial need, please make a definitive statement regarding the candidate’s need.
4. What makes this student stand out above other students applying for the same scholarship?

ALL parts of the application must be received or postmarked no later than September 1, 2015 for Fall 2015 Term, December 4, 2015 for Winter 2016 Term and April 8, 2016 for Spring 2016 Term. Incomplete applications cannot be considered for an award at this time.
