What’s New This Year in the Program Advisor and Student Team Kit

The back-to-school rush is beginning to simmer down, and schools are finally settling into their routine. Now is a GREAT time to review this year’s Playbook and start recruiting students that will lead the Fuel Up to Play 60 charge at your school. Schools will begin receiving their Program Advisor & Student Team Kits from Dairy MAX that are chock-full of tools, resources, and incentives that will arm your Fuel Up to Play 60 Team with exciting ways to engage and incentivize students to help:

  • Check off your Six Steps and earn a $100 gift card
  • Earn points and tackle Challenges on the Student Website
  • Reach Ambassador status
  • Become agents of change and leaders in school wellness

This year’s Program Advisor and Student Ambassador Kit includes an Instruction Guide that demonstrates how each item can be used to check off your Six Steps and reach your wellness goals.

Dairy MAX is excited to announce some NEW items to the kit this year that are designed to help the Program Advisor stay on task, as well as to reward active Student Team members.

Program Advisor Planning Calendar

Keep all your important Fuel Up to Play 60 deadlines and dates to remember in this convenient school year calendar! This spiral bound calendar contains the dates of this year’s contest deadlines, grants, promotions, and important dates to remember in one place, and its silicone-lined edges allow it to be used as both a desktop AND pocket calendar. Plan your Plays and stay on task!

Student Team ID Badge and Lanyard

These helmet-shaped ID Badges will help your Student Team keep track of their username and password that they will use to log on to the Fuel Up to Play 60 Student Website. The ID badges are designed to attach to the Fuel Up to Play 60 lanyards (also included in kit) and be worn around the neck for safekeeping. The back of the ID cards contain outlines for reward stickers that they can earn by completing steps AND carrying out specific tasks described on the Student

Student Team Leadership Cards

Incentivize and empower students to spread the word about Fuel Up to Play 60! These Student Team Leadership Cards are full of EASY ideas that your Student Team can use to:

  • Check-off your Healthy Eating Play and Physical Activity Play
  • Complete Challenges on the student website
  • Promote wellness at your school

The Student Team Leadership Cards are designed to recognize and reward student achievement, and all ideas included on the cards can be implemented by students with little help from the Program Advisor and teachers.

Here’s how they work:

The Student Team Leadership cards contain ideas for Promotion, Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Breakfast. Each card describes ways that the Student Team can help check-off Step 5, complete challenges, and/or promote Fuel Up to Play 60 at your school. If they complete a task on the card, they receive a reward sticker to place on the back of their Student ID Badge. The reward sticker booklet is included with the Student Team Leadership Cards.

Challenge your Student Team to complete different ideas on the Student Team Leadership Cards to fill their ID badges with reward stickers! Student Team members can also earn reward stickers as the Program Advisor achieves the following on their Dashboard:

  • Join the League
  • First Down
  • Complete 3/6 Steps
  • Field Goal
  • Complete 5/6 Steps
  • Touchdown
  • Complete 6/6 Steps

The Student Team Leadership Cards and reward stickers are a GREAT opportunity for Student Team members to achieve Ambassador status, help their Program Advisors check-off Steps, and become wellness leaders at their school.
