How to get there
The Scottish Arts Council is based at
12 Manor Place, Edinburgh EH3 7DD. The offices are located in the West End of Edinburgh, close to Haymarket Station and adjacent to the local landmark of St Mary's Episcopal Cathedral.

Travellers' Notes
By Car
From Glasgow (M8) or Stirling (M9) enter Edinburgh via Corstorphine Road and Haymarket Terrace.
From the North (M90/A90) enter via the Queensferry Road.
If arriving from the South (A1) or the Borders area, take the city bypass to either its junction with the Biggar Road (A702) or the Lanark Road (A70) and follow the signs for the city centre. The A702 route will bring you into Princes Street via Morningside and Lothian Road. The A70 route will lead you through Craiglockhart and connect you
directly with Morrison Street, via Slateford Road and the Western Approach Road.

By Rail
The nearest railway station is Haymarket, a 5 minute walk from Manor Place. On exiting the station building, turn left and cross the road. Once across, walk to your right - towards Princes Street - and Manor Place is third on the left. If arriving at Edinburgh's main station, Waverley, either take a taxi from the station, a bus (see below) or walk, which takes around 20 minutes via Princes Street, Shandwick Place and Coates Crescent.

By Bus
The main bus terminal in Edinburgh is
St Andrew's Bus Station Lothian Buses and First Edinburgh Buses (formerly SMT) both operate a regular service. The closest stop to the Scottish Arts Council, when travelling from the city centre is Atholl Crescent. If arriving from the West alight at West Maitland Street.

By Air
Edinburgh Airport is approximately 7 miles from Manor Place. Taxis are available from the airport. Alternatively airport buses operate a regular shuttle into the city centre. Ask the bus to stop at Haymarket (West Maitland Street stance). Manor Place is only one block along towards the city centre, around 3 minutes walk.
