Day #1 - Thursday, March 20, 2014

9:00 a.m.Meet your Celestial Travel & Tours Manager (John Icabone)at Denver International Airport 2 hours prior to departure for check-in

Each traveler is allowed the following for luggage on Southwest Airlines:

a)ONE checked suitcase (50 pound weight limit – measuring 62 linear inches = length + width + height) and

b)ONE bag (purse or backpack) and

c)ONE personal carry-on item which fits airline standards (45 linear inches = length + width + height). Carry-on items MUST fit in the overhead bin or under the seat in front of you. This should be your instrument if it falls within the measurements noted above.

All travelers will receive a red Celestial Travel & Tours luggage tag prior to the tour. The tag should be filled out and attached to your checked bag so it will be easily identifiable. There are currently no checked baggage fees on Southwest

Airlines. We will inform you if this policy changes prior to your tour. If you have a larger instrument (that weighs up to 50 pounds and measures between 46 and 62 linear inches) it will need to be checked as a (2nd) checked bag. Please see your Tour Manager or Director for instructions.

11:00a.m.The group departs Denver International Airport for Orlando International Airportvia Southwest Airlinesflight #335(1 stop – no plane change). Estimated flight time is 4 hours and 55 minutes

5:55 p.m.Everyone arrives at the Orlando International Airport. Orlando is EST (Eastern Standard Time) so make sure your watches and phones are set 2 hours ahead (i.e. when it’s 6pm in Denver it 8pm in Orlando)

The group loads luggage and instruments onto the (2) Pegusus motor coaches. Everyone boards the motor coaches to transfer to the hotel

Day #2 –Friday, March 21, 2014 - Park Day!

Your tour includes a 3-Day Park Hopper pass, which will alloweveryone to travel freely between three parks (Disney’s Hollywood Studios/Disney’s Magic Kingdom/Epcot) on 3/21, 3/22 and 3/23. With your pass, all participants have complimentary access to the Disney transportation network of monorails, buses and boats. While there are many ways to get around Walt Disney World Resort, here are several recommended routes:

  • Magic Kingdom park and Epcot are connected via monorail
  • Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are connected via boat
  • Magic Kingdom park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios are connected via bus

7:00 a.m.Wake up call

7:30 a.m.Breakfast at the hotel (included)

8:30 a.m.Everyone boards the (2) motor coaches to depart for Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Make sure to bring a hat, sunscreen and water!! Plastic water bottles and snacks can be carried in

9:00 a.m.Everyone arrives at Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios:Here, the spirit of Hollywood is captured in lights, cameras, and a whole lot of action. With stunts and special effects, spaceships and stage shows, movie magic comes to life in this working studio that puts you both in the scenesand behind. Enjoy celebrity status for a day of non-stop fun, thrills, and spectacular entertainment.

A designated meeting location will be discussed prior to exiting the motor coaches

LOCKERS: Multi-use, key-operated lockers can be opened and closed as often as you like. A $5 refundable deposit is required for the locker key. Keys must be turned in within an hour of park closing. Small lockers cost $7 a day and large lockers $9 a day. Epcot and Disney’s Hollywood Studios have single-use, coin-operated lockers located near the bus Information booths. The cost is one dollar. Quarters must be inserted each time the locker is locked. Multi-Park Locker Rentals: When visiting more than one park per day, simply return your locker key to receive your original $5 deposit. Then, present your receipt (plus the deposit) at the second theme park to gain access to another locker for the remainder of the day at no additional cost.

8:30 p.m.“Fantasmic” the Nighttime Spectacular on Sunset Blvd. atWalt Disney’s Hollywood Studiosbegins

Day #2 – Friday, March 21, 2014 - Park Day!

9:30 p.m.Disney’s Hollywood Studioscloses, so everyone meets at a pre-designated location outside of the park to board the (2) motor coaches

10:15 p.m.The group arrives at the hotel

Day #3 – Saturday, March22, 2014(Workshop Day - Epcot)

4:30 a.m.Wake up call for band members and director

5:00 a.m.Breakfast at the hotel (included) for band members & director

6:00 a.m.Band members and director (1)motor coachto depart for Walt Disney’s Epcot Center(with instruments)in casual attire

6:30a.m. The motor coach will arrive at the security gate for Epcot. The coach will use the INSPECTION LANE to approach the gate. The vehicle must stop individually for clearance. A Security Host assists with directions to the DISNEY PERFORMING ARTS PRESHOW AREA. The group will meet their Disney Host at the assigned the “Studio A”rehearsal room in a backstage area of Epcot

7:00 a.m.Band members will enjoy a professional Instrumental Workshopsponsored by the Disney Performing Arts Onstage program

Instrumental Soundtrack Session:Students in a recording studio setting where Disney music professionals teach students the importance of sight-reading and performance concepts, and what it's like to work in the music industry. Workshop clinicians are composers, arrangers, conductors and studio musicians, each with Disney credits to their name. Disney studios are the “real deal”, so when students put on a pair of wireless headphones and listen to the click track, they truly learn what it's like to lay down tracks

like the pros. Each 90-minute session includes playback of actual Disney film clips with the musical score provided by your ensemble.

Only performers and Director(s) may enter the workshop.

-Comfortable and suitable clothing is required for participation.

-For the safety of the participants, stocking feet, bare feet, sandals and flip flops are not permitted.

-No food or drink may be taken into the Workshop space, except bottled water with a cap.

-No photography or video recording is permitted backstage at any time, including inside the workshop space.

8:30 a.m.The motor coach picks up non performing travelers (chaperones/adults) from the hotel to transfer to Epcot

Day #3 – Saturday, March 22, 2014 (Workshop Day - Epcot)

Epcot Center:Celebrate the fascinating cultures and numerous wonders of the world around you through dazzling shows, interactive experiences and amazing attractions. Marvel at the power of human imagination to set the spirits soaring.

Lunch and dinner (at own expense)

9:00 a.m.Chaperones/adults arrive at Epcot

9:30 a.m.The workshop ends and the motor coach will have arrived back

9:45 a.m.Band members load their instruments onto (1) motor coach and everyone is free to enjoy the rest of the day at the park(s). The instruments will remain locked in the motor coach for the day. The motor coach will meet the group upon closing of the Magic Kingdom (at that assigned location)

It’s time for band members and Director to enter the park and spend a day at Epcot

9:00 p.m.“IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth” Nighttime Spectacular atEpcot

Begins

Illuminations:Gather around the World Showcase Lagoon to witness the incredible history of our planet. All kinds of extraordinary technology and talent went into producing this spectacle. While watching the show, you’ll see and hear:The Inferno Barge, a liquid-propane mechanism that launches balls of fire 60 feet into the air, The 350,000-pound Earth Globe, the world's first spherical video display system. Jim Cummings—the voice of Winnie the Pooh, Tigger and other Disney characters—narrating this nighttime spectacular

9:00 p.m.Epcotpark closes and everyone will need to transfer to Disney’s Magic Kingdom by monorail

10:00 p.m.WISHES Nightime Spectacular (fireworks) begins on Main Street (in front of Cinderella’s Castle) at The Magic Kingdom

11:00 p.m.The Main Street “Electrical Parade” begins at the Magic Kingdom

Enjoy the nighttime Spectacular Fireworks

11:30 p.m.Everyone meets at the predesignated location and boards (2) motor coaches to depart for the hotel

MidnightThe group arrives at the hotel. Band members will unload their instruments and put them in the storage room

12:30 a.m. (Sunday)Everyone in their assigned room and lights out!

Day #4 – Sunday, March 23, 2014 – Performance Day! – Magic Kingdom

6:30 a.m.Wake up call

7:30 a.m.Breakfast at the hotel (included)

8:15 a.m.Band members board (1) motor coach with performance attire and instruments

8:30 a.m.Everyone boards (2) Pegasus motor coachesto depart for Disney’s Magic Kingdom

9:00 a.m.Welcome to the Magic Kingdom!!

Magic Kingdom: Follow your Disney dreams to a place where storybook fantasy comes to life. Seek out adventures, create magical memories with beloved characters and discover the fun where imagination reigns.

11:00a.m.Band members and director board (1) motor coach at the designated location to transfer to the pre-show area to meet their Disney host and prepare for their performance

12:00p.m.Band members and director arrive at the Downtown Disneypre-show area and meet their Disney Host. You will be instructed to the dressing rooms to change and retrieve your instruments from the motor coach

12:00p.m.Non-performers will meet at the designated location and board (1) motor coach at the Magic Kingdom to transfer to Downtown Disney to watch the performance

12:45p.m.Non-performers arrive at Downtown Disney Marketplace

Downtown Disney: World-class restaurants, dazzling entertainment and unique shops line the waterfront at Downtown Disney area. Shop in the world’s largest Disney store, dine amid life-size prehistoric creatures, bowl a game at the 30-lane alley and more. This fun-filled district includes Downtown Disney West Side, Downtown Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island. Shops include the Planet Hollywood Store, Orlando Harley-Davidson, LEGO Imagination Center, Goofy’s Candy Company, Disney’s pin Traders,

Circque du Soleil Boutiqe, Blink by Wet Seal, The Art by Disney store, and House of Blues Store.

1:30 p.m. – 1:55 p.m.The Chaparral High School Concert Bandenjoys their Stage Performance at the “Waterside Stage” in Downtown Disney, located in the Downtown Disney Marketplace (not in a theme park)

2:00 p.m.The performance ends and non-performers have free time to explore
Downtown Disney. Band members load instruments onto (1) motor coach and return to the pre-show performance area to change into casual attire (no one is allowed to change in the Downtown Disney restrooms or on the motor coach). Performers will then return and have free time and shopping in Downtown Disney

Day #4 – Sunday, March 23 – Performance Day - Magic Kingdom (cont.)

4:15 p.m.Everyone meets (2) Pegasus motor coaches at the pre-designated location to return to The Magic Kingdom

5:00 p.m.The group arrives at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. One coach will have the instruments and remain locked. This motor coach will return at 11:00pm

11:00 p.m.Everyone meets at the designated location and board the (2) Pegasus motor coaches to transfer to the hotel

11:30 p.m.Everyone arrives at the hotel. Band members unload the instruments and performance attire. Instruments should be taken to the storage area

Day #5 - Monday, March 24, 2014 – Universal Studios Florida

7:00 a.m.Wake up call

8:00 a.m.Breakfast at the hotel (included)

9:00 a.m.The group will gather in the lobby to walk to Universal Studios 15 min., ¾ miles. Make sure you have a hat, sunscreen and water

9:30 a.m.Everyone arrives to spend the day at Universal Studios Florida

LOCKERS: All day lockers are available inside the Main Entrance of the theme park for a rental fee of $8.00 per day, with large lockers $10.00 per day. Guests have unlimited access to these lockers during the course of the day.
In addition, loose articles are not permitted on select attractions. The following attractions have free lockers available during a visit to the attraction to store all loose articles:

Day #5 - Monday, March 24, 2014 – Universal Studios Florida (cont.)

Additional lockers are available at select attractions inside Universal Studios for $4.00 for the first 90 minutes; $3 for each additional hour; with a $20.00 per day maximum.

These lockers are available at the entrance of the following attractions:

  • Jurassic Park River Adventure®
  • Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls®
  • Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges

6:45 p.m.Everyone will meet at the Nascar Sports Grillin Universal Studios City Walk for dinner. The City Walk is located at the end of Universal Studios, and is directly across from the Blue Man Group Theatre

7:00 p.m.Enjoy a NASCAR Nacho, Taco & Salad bar buffet dinner at the Nascar Sports Grill

9:30 a.m.Room checks will be performed by chaperones and room keys collected. Make sure to check all areas such as dressers, fridge, under the bed, behind the curtains,

etc. for personal items. Anything left at the hotel will be returned (if available) at the expense of the participant

10:00 a.m.Everyone loads the (2) Pegasus motor coaches with luggage and instruments and board the motor coaches to transfer to the Orlando International Airport

11:00 a.m.The group arrives at the Orlando International Airport for check in. Follow

the Tour Manager’s instructions for unloading and checking in

If desired, travelers can purchase lunch at the airport (at own expense), which can be taken onto the plane

1:00 p.m.The (nonstop) Southwest Airlines flight #519departs for Denver. Estimated flight time is 4 hours and 5 minutes. Time to set your watches back 2 hours

3:05 p.m.The group arrives at the Denver International Airport with…
