Erin’s Law
Community Consolidated School District 46's Curriculum must include Erin's Law, an annual state mandated, age-appropriate sexual abuse and assault awareness and prevention program for students Pre-K through 12th grade. Governor Pat Quinn signed Erin's Law in January 2013.
The curriculum will vary from grade to grade, however it will be developmentally appropriate per grade level. In grades K-4, students will watch pre-approved videos that meet the requirements of Erin's Law. If you would like to preview these videos, please contact Principal, Cathy Santelle.
For grades K-4, videos will be shown to students between January 18, 2016 and January 29, 2016.
