Paperless Backlog Tool Saves Time And Money For Organic Peoples’ Clients
Organic People, a specialist in billing system software for the cable industry, launched a new tool that eliminates the generation of thousands of pieces of paper during a system conversion. When migrating from one type of software to another, there are exceptions that must be addressed individually. The Comcast Memphis market engaged Organic People to implement their Paperless Backlog Tool during a recent conversion, eliminating management of 26,000 paper exceptions. The effort increased efficiencies and lowered hard costs by reducing resources needed to manage the backlog, providing real-time reporting, reducing the risk of lost orders and eliminating paper cost. In addition, the web-based tool uncovered 384 accounts that had not been converted, recovering as much as $230,000 of potential lost revenue annualized.
