3. – Accommodation and Venue
IMPORTANT: On Sunday 26th June is required you leave all the rooms at 09:00 a.m. A specific place for storing your baggage will be given at the Residence and the Sports Hall.
Meals
All meals will be served in the dining hall of the Residence Building, with this schedule:
Breakfast: 7:00-9:00 am.
Lunch: 1:00-3:30 pm.(On Sunday 26th, will be packed lunch)
Dinner: 8:00-10:00 pm.
Water
Tap water in the campus is potable.
Internet
WiFi internet access is free in many areas of the University, including the Residence and the Sports Hall.

Accreditation
Participants must wear their accreditation cards everytime in order to gain access to all areas at the University and Halls of Residence.
Swimming pool
Participants are welcome to use the open air swimming pool (12:00 am–8:00 pm) when opened to the public (please notify in advance). The accreditation card should be shown to gain access.
Gymnasium
Should you wish to use the gymnasium please contact the tournament organization.
Changing rooms
Changing rooms are available at the Sports Halls. Changing rooms are open use and are not reserved for each team.
Schedule and regulations
In order to ensure the tournament runs smoothly, all participants must follow the tournament schedule and University and Residence rules and regulations.
Smoking is strictly forbidden on the University Campus.
4. – Transport .
On Sunday 26th, transport to the airport will be organised following the schedule of the departure flights. Paco Monreal will inform of all you about your departure time.
Public transport to Madrid (Príncipe Pío Station) is available at the University gates close to the accommodation. This is a bus service (Number 518) which takes approximately 40 minutes. The same bus goes to Tres Aguas Shopping Centre (10-15 minutes).
5. – Competition Rules.
The FEDC INTERNATIONAL GOALBALL TOURNAMENT MADRID 2016 shall be run under the official IBSA Goalball Rulebook. The following additional rules shall apply:
1 In both categories, asingle Round Robin System will be used.
2 The KSG (German) balls will be used during the tournament. The floor surface is Taraflex.
3The warm up previous to the game can be made in the areas behind the goals, but each team must be ensured don’t make noise which could disturb the players in action in this moment.
4The coin toss for your game will be held 5 minutes before the game start at the Officials Table.
5The game-line up will be announced 3 minutes before the game start, but the team can continue with its own warm up. No necessary to stand on the line.
6There will be patching during the tournament and patches will be provided at the scoreboard in each venue. The own staff of each team will be uncharged of patching the players, under the supervision of the referees of the match, at least 1 minute and a 30 seconds before to start the game.
7Any protest has to be handed to the jury or a referee within 30 minutes after the end of the game. The protest fee is 50 Euros. The jury consists of Mick McGuire (Dina Murdie as 1st reserve and Raquel Aguado as 2nd reserve), Thomas Prokein (Antonios Anastos as 1st reserve and Stanis Elsborg as 2nd reserve) and Paco Monreal. In any case, the coach or referee involved in the match will be in the protest committee.
