MINUTES

The meeting was held at 4425 N. Market Street Wilmington, DE. A quorum of the Board was present for the meeting. Present: Elmer L. Newlin, Chairman of the Board, Vance G. Daniels, Sr., Beverly Bell, and Donald Dryden, Board Members, also present were Katisha D, Fortune, Deputy Attorney General and Counsel to the Board, and Tanishia Stewart, Board Secretary.

THE FOLLOWING CASES WERE HEARD BY THE BOARD:

John Tracy v. None Involved – AD # 10732287

Present: John Tracy, claimant; Sharon Brown, agency representative. A motion was made by Mr. Dryden, and seconded by Mrs. Bell. The Board moved to affirm the 2 week exhaustion, and modify the referee decision to have the claimant refile a claim as a commuter. Mr. Daniels and Mr. Newlin agreed. Mrs. Carpenter was not present for the hearing.

Barbara Ricucci v. None Involved – AD # 20731929

Present: Barbara Ricucci, claimant; Margie Perry, agency representative. A motion was made by Mrs. Bell, and seconded by Mr. Daniels. The Board moved to affirm the referee and deny benefits. Mr. Dryden and Mr. Newlin agreed. Mrs. Carpenter was not present for the hearing.

Michelle Cleaver v. Ron English – AD # 20739149

Present: Michelle Cleaver, claimant. Although duly notified, the employer, Ron English, failed to appear. A motion was made by Mr. Dryden, and seconded by Mrs. Bell. The Board moved to dismiss. Mr. Daniels and Mr. Newlin agreed. Mrs. Carpenter was not present during the hearing.
