Vales

Since the commencement of Australia's involvement in Peacekeeping and Peacemaking missions, a number of our personnel have unfortunately paid the ultimate sacrifice.

To recognise the sacrifice of Australian's deployed overseas, this Roll of Honour has been created so that everyone remembers that the hazards of being deployed on even the smallest mission can be greater than expected.

They shall grow not old
As we that are left grow old;
Age shall not weary them,
Nor the years condemn;
At the going down of the sun
And in the morning
We Will Remember Them.
