The Kentucky Federation's website was revamped in 2006, thanks to President Millie Lotter’s son Michael. It's filled with an incredible array of valuable information useful at all levels of our organization and all at the click of a few buttons. Trying to record in one document all that is available is almost impossible. However, contained in these pages is an attempt to give you a little bit of an overview...if nothing else it will whet your appetite for what awaits you at Remember to visit often, because things are being added on a continual basis!
The Home page contains an overview of the State, Regional and Local Organizations, as well as Kentucky Federation upcoming events and deadlines and other timely links. The toolbar on the left side has links to your State and Regional Officersas well as the Standing and SpecialCommittees Chairs. We are also linked to your Local Organizations. Check it out tobe sure we have the correct information for your Local President and local meeting! If you have a Local Organization Website, let us know and we will add the link.
The EventsPage is a listing of KFBPW’s Calendar of Events. It includes links to reports, flyers, registration forms and committee chair e-mails pertaining to the event.
Have an upcoming event in your Local? Let us know and we will add it to the Local Organization Event calendar. This is a result of your feedback at the State Conference in Owensboro! Go to Events and click on the Local OrganizationEvents tab. When you click on the Add your Local’s Upcoming Events, a form pops up to tell us about your event. This sends an e-mail with the information to me and I will then add it to the site. If you have a flyer or document you want attached, send it to me direct at .
Want information on the issues we are lobbying for in Frankfort? Go to the Legislation page. Your State Legislative Platform can be found here as well as links to other National Legislative sites. We also provide links to State Legislative sites such as The Kentucky Commission on Women and the Kentucky Legislature Page where you can track bills, find contact information on your legislator, and many other pertinent legislative sites.
The Download Page has been updated to provide a one-stopone-shop place to find hopefully everything you may need to assist you as a local or regional officer, a committee chair or just a member who is interested in the materials. It is subdivided into categories to make it easier to find what you may need at the time. You have access to the complete updated Leadership Manual. Here you will find everything in your Leadership Manual and more. All the pages should be up to date. As we get updates on the various reports, we will add an “Updated” notation to let you know. Sample stationary templates and the many viewers for viewing the documents on our web site (just in case you don’t have that particular software) can also be found here. Need a form? Look no further than the Download page for all those BPW forms along with many other tidbits of information.
We have linked to all of the archived Kentucky Cardinals on the new Downloadpage as well as your Local Newsletters so everyone can see what is happening with your Local Organization. Just email your newsletters to me at or mail them to my home address.
