2006 Sanitarian Soils Training
“Identifying Soil Characteristics that affectOnsite Wastewater Treatment”
This workshop is being offered by the Soil Inventory Board for sanitarians working in household sewage programs at local health departments. The Tuscarawas Soil and Water Conservation District is hosting the workshop for Northeastern Ohio. Six (6) CE hours have been submitted to the RS Board by Tim Gerber at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR).Each regional workshop will accommodate a maximum of 12 participants to allow for hands-on training “in the pits” with soil scientists. Those attending should dress for field work and weather conditions.The course will be held rain or shine. The workshop is on:

2006 Sanitarian Soils Training—Directions
The 2006 Sanitarian Soils Training Workshop is being held at the Tuscarawas County Water and Sewer Facilities building located at 9944 Wilkshire Blvd, NE, Bolivar.
To drive to the facility:
From the North, South or West:
Take I-77 to the Bolivar/Zoar Exit (Exit 93). Take SR 212 to the east, towards Zoar. Once you cross the TuscarawasRiver (which is just past the interchange) you will turn right onto Wilkshire Blvd. Follow Wilkshire Blvd for approx ¾ to 1 mile. The Tusc Co Water and Sewer Facility is on the right, behind the Stark-Tusc-Wayne Joint Solid Waste Management Dist building. Parking is between these two buildings.
From the East:
Take SR 212 east to Zoar, OH. Once in Zoar, follow SR 212 west to Bolivar. Just before entering into Bolivar, there is a Giant Eagle grocery store on the right and a Wendy’s restaurant on the left. Turn left in front of the Wendy’s onto Edgebrook Rd. This road intersects with Wilkshire Blvd. Turn to the left onto Wilkshire Blvd. Proceed ½ to ¾ mile on Wilkshire Blvd. The Tusc Co Water and Sewer Facility is on the right, behind the Stark-Tusc-Wayne Joint Solid Waste Management Dist building. Parking is between these two buildings.
