JOB TITLE: Digi Arts, Film and Music Tech Support

LOCATION: Wac Arts College, Old Town Hall, 213 Haverstock Hill, London NW3

SALARY: £16 p/h

HOURS: 12.5h p/w (0.6), 30w p/a

START DATE:Sept 2017

JOB AIM: To provide learning support to students. To work closely with other teaching staff to deliver the academiccurriculum

MAIN DUTIES:

  1. To support tutors & teaching staff in the training and delivery of the curriculum to pre-16 and post-16 cohorts
  2. To support the SENCo in the effective delivery of SEN provision.
  3. To assist students with the organisation and completion of their college work e.g. projects, note-taking, research etc.
  4. To provide welfare assistance where necessary and enable access to the full range of internal and external support services
  5. To develop and maintain effective relations with learners & their families/carers that promote
  6. learning
  7. To liaise with specialist support services
  8. To help teaching staff in the identification and development of appropriate resources for individual learning
  9. To undertake administrative duties as required
  10. To promote an inclusive learning environment across the College
  11. To attend staff team meetings as required
  12. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably requested by the Principal
  13. Participate in appraisal and professional development as appropriate

Education and Experience
Relevant experience in arts & media education, specifically digital arts, film and music technology / x
Relevant qualifications in arts & media education, specifically digital arts, film andmusic technology / x
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
Working knowledge of DSLR cameras, sound recording and Adobe Premiere Pro / x
Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and stop motion animation / x
Working knowledge of Logic / x
A keen interest in arts and media / x
Ability to carry out general office skills and to deal with a variety of tasks such as filing, typing, data analysis, etc. / x
Excellent organisational skills / x

Ability to assist in the production of learning materials / x
