HUMAN BINGO

-FREE SQUARE-

ICE BREAKER: HUMAN BINGO

GOAL

·  To fill in squares to connect a line across the square up, down, side to side, or corner to corner.

SET-UP

·  Need Human BINGO cards. Cards should be set up in rows and columns. Each square should have an action that people do or things people have seen.

STORY & RULES

1.  Participants are to introduce themselves to every person they talk to before they are allowed to ask a question.

2.  Only one question is allowed to be asked to a person at a time.

3.  No passing the card to others and saying “sign a square”.

4.  If the information in the square pertains to the person asked, the participant writes their name in the square and must find another person to ask a question to before asking the person another question.

5.  Bingo can be made vertically, horizontally, or diagonally

6.  When Bingo is achieved, the person must sit down exactly where they are and yell “BINGO” as loud as they can. The game ends when everyone is seated.

SAFETY

·  Remind everyone this is challenge by choice, so if they don’t feel comfortable saying they have done something on the board, they don’t have to admit it.

VARIATIONS

You may enforce some of these extra rules, but you don’t need to enforce all of them in one game.

1.  Set the maximum number of times one person’s name may appear on one bingo card.

2.  A completed card must have all different names to win.

3.  Everyone is allowed to fill in his or her own name on the center square only.

4.  Have everyone keep their card and at breaks in the action, have them try to complete a blackout.
