Fourth and Fifth Grade Students

It is an exciting time for all fourth and fifth grade students in music class. We will begin our recorder lessons in November. This is your opportunity to order a recorder and a lesson book. All students will be playing in music class and should have their own recorder and book to take home and practice. Recorders and book will cost $9.00. Neck straps are available for an additional $1.50. (I do recommend a neck strap.) Other combinations are listed at the bottom of the page. Money is due at the time of ordering. If you have a recorder from last year or from an older brother or sister, you do not need to order a recorder today. You can purchase your lesson book Be A Recorder Star separately. Please refrain from purchasing a recorder from the toy store or the dollar store. The quality of sound is quite different. You are welcome to purchase a recorder from a local music store.

We are planning to begin playing recorders in Late November. All orders will need to be turned in to Mrs. Ludwig by Tuesday, November 3rd . The students will receive their instrument they ordered during music class when the order arrives.

Please return this completed order with your money to Mrs. Ludwig in the music room by Tuesday, November 3rd . Checks can be made out to Carolina Forest Elementary. Please have your phone # on the check.
