Order:

In the G.O. first read above, Government issued orders exempting all the shops and establishments in the State where there are no employees as defined under the sub-section (8) of Section 2 of the Andhra Pradesh Shops & Establishments Act, 1988 from all the provisions of the Act.

The Commissioner of Labour, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad in his letter 2nd read above, sent proposals that instead of total exemption to without employees shops, exemption may be given partially only as the field functionaries are experiencing difficulties when employees are found in without employee shops. Government have examined the said proposals in detail and decided to approve them.

Accordingly, the following Notification will be published in an Extraordinary Gazette of Andhra Pradesh:-

Notification

In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (4) of Section 73 of the Andhra Pradesh Shops and Establishments Act, 1988 (Andhra Pradesh Act, No.20 of 1988), and in supercession of the notification issued in G.O.Ms.No.11, Labour Employment Training and Factories Department, dated the 6th February, 2009 the Government of Andhra Pradesh hereby exempt all the shops and establishments where there are no employees as defined under sub section (8) of section 2 of the said Act, from all the provisions of the said Act except the following provisions namely:-

Section: 3 Registration of establishments.

Section: 4 Renewal of registration certificates.

Section: 5 Revocation or suspension of the Registration Certificate.

Section: 6 Appeal against revocation or suspension of the Registration Certificate.

Section: 68 Maintenance of Visit Book and display of name Board
in Telugu read with Rules 29 (10)(e)) & 13.
