POWER99 Foundation is registered with Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) as a non-profit development organization under Section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984. The governance structure of POWER99 Foundation comprises a two-tier system; Board of Directors (BoDs) and the Management Team. POWER99 Foundation has undertaken to follow a democratic, non-political and a transparent system, with the overarching principle of promoting equal opportunities for women & children. The organization has implemented “Broad Class – Listen to Learn” Interactive Radio Instruction program in primary classes of public schools of Islamabad, Abbottabad, Haripur, Quetta and Vehari. We are seeking dynamic and experienced professionals for our Islamabad and Abbottabad offices for the following positions:

Program Officer (Islamabad): The Program Officer will be responsible to provide support to management in planning, designing and implementation of project activities. He/she will be responsible for preparing project inception, monthly/quarterly reports, data collection from the project offices and compilation of reports according to the requirement of the funding agency and facilitation to senior management for smooth implementation of program activities. The candidate must have Masters Degree in Education/Social Sciences with a working experience of 2-3 years on social sector projects. The applicant should be able to work collectively with team for implementation of program activities. The candidate must possess proficiency in English, excellent management, writing, interpersonal, and computer skills.

District Coordinator (Abbottabad):The candidate must have a Masters degree in Education/Social Sciences with a working experience of minimum 3-5 years in the same position on education project and ability to work collaboratively in team. The candidate should be able to work independently in developing liaison with the government department, donor and implementing partner as well as capable of providing support for trainings, meetings, workshop, classroom assistance and writing monthly and quarterly reports. He/She should have sufficient experience in implementation of educational projects. Experience in developing proposal/reports and presenting to various stakeholders and in educational seminars would be preferred. Candidate possessing proficiency in English, excellent management, writing, interpersonal, and computer skills will be preferred.

Education Officers (Abbottabad): The main responsibilities will include conduct training workshops; providing practical, verbal and written on going technical assistance in the classrooms; assist program team in identifying areas for training and technical assistance based on need analysis and classroom visits; conduct orientation and regular meetings with member of School Councils and heads; update/maintain school profiles; collect success stories for reports; and facilitate team in data collection and baseline survey and submission of reports. The candidates must have a Bachelors Degree in Education/Social Sciences with 3-5 years’work experience in education sector. The candidates should have a willingness and ability to mentor teachers in public schools in deprived communities. The candidate should have report writing experience with proficiency in English and computer usage.

Community Mobilizers (Abbottabad): The candidate must possess B.A Degree in Education/ Social Sciences with minimum 2-year experience of community mobilization at the grass roots level. Candidates having additional experience of teaching, training and working on educational projects will be preferred. The main responsibilities will include close interaction with beneficiary groups (teachers, parents and community influential), conduct community based activities/trainings of SMCs, compilation of activity and field visit reports, administer baseline surveys to gather desired information. The candidate should have excellent writing, interpersonal and computer skills.

Monitoring & Evaluation Manager (Islamabad): POWER99 Foundation employs a systemic approach to monitoring and evaluating its programs. The results of our evaluations are presented to various stakeholders. The incumbent should have Master's Degree in Education/Anthropology, Economics or Statistics from a HEC recognized university; and a working experience of 3-5 years as M&E Coordinator/Officer. Applicants should not be over 40 years old. Experience in monitoring and evaluation of educational projects, especially in the realm of primary education would be an asset. The candidate should be able to work collaboratively to design monitoring and evaluation frameworks, methods and tools. He/She will be responsible for the collection of baseline data and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data. Based on the data gathered, he/she would then analyze the summaries and write reports. Ability to present comprehensive reports and case studies, to diverse audiences is critical. Proficiency in English, computer usage and statistical software are essential.

IT/Computer Officer (Islamabad): The IT/Computer Officer will work in consultation and coordination with senior management and will be responsible for writing, editing and producing all public information material and other required project documentation. Key responsibilities include updating website for identified audience; developing and disseminating key messages/presentations that includes Media releases and other public information on web/Facebook page; development and management of a sound information and knowledge management and sharing system (using text, statistics and photos); developing info graphics and other data visualization diagrams for reporting and communications purposes. The candidate should have B.A. degree with minimum 2-3 years of experience; and strong IT skills. He/she should have strong familiarity using Microsoft office applications (word, excel, power point and access), Adobe utilities, performing internet research, and utilizing digital media tools. He/she should have proven ability to present key program information in visual and graphic form using relevant computer software.

Data Entry Operator (Abbottabad): The candidate should have a Bachelors Degree with 3-5 years’ experience in data entry. He/She will be working under the supervision of M& Coordinator. The Data Entry Operator will facilitate team in baseline survey, midterm and impact assessment of the program. He/She will maintain and keep record of all program data and will update it on regular basis. The incumbent should be proficient in the use of computers and statistical software including spreadsheets and databases. The ideal candidate would possess strong personal motivation and ability to complete tasks within strict and tight deadlines

Enumerators (Abbottabad) – Short term: The candidate must possess graduation/Masters degree in Education /Social Sciences with sufficient experience conducting surveys at the grass roots level, preferably on education projects. The main responsibilities will include filling out questionnaire, conducting focus group discussions at community level, Household survey etc. The candidate should demonstrate leadership and team work, writing, interpersonal and computer skills.
