2 / Flat Head Bolts
2 / Rubber washers
2 / SS washers
2 / Nylon nuts
2 / Double side tape

Suggestions for install:

1)Place motorcycle on a stable lift so that it is level.
2)With the radiator on, hook the chin scoop underneath the frame and lift it over the radiator cover. Don’t remove the double side tape for this step. (Fig.1)
3)Once in place, you’ll need to drill the radiator cover with a ¼” drill bit.(Fig.2) Drilling in the correct angle as shown is important.
4)Remove the Chin Scoop andstock radiator cover to install your Honey Comb Screens after drilling.
5)Removing the stock radiator cover is not difficult if done correctly. There are 8 areas on the stock radiator screen that need to release from the radiator. (Fig.3) If you can release one side the other side will slide off very easy.
6)With the radiator cover off the motorcycle, attach the chin scoop with the supplied hardware. The flat head bolt should go through the chin scoop with the rubber washer on the back side, then bolt should go through the holes you drilled into the stock radiator cover, with the SS washer and Nylon nut on the back side. Do not over tighten the bolts. You should only have two or three threads coming out of the Nylon nut. (Fig.4)
7)(If purchased) Place the radiator honey comb screen to the inside of the radiator cover so it sits flat with the smooth side facing out (rough side facing the radiator). See Fig.3
8)When installing the Chin Scoop and radiator cover together (for the final time) remove the double sided tape on both sides of the chin scoop.(Fig.5) Then install the Chin Scoop as you did in step 2. The radiator cover will have to slide on one side, and then pull over the radiator cover to hook to the other side.
9)When in place, you can try to tighten the chin scoop a little more if need be. To get a 10mm wrench on the left side of the motorcycle you will have to remove the foot peg bracket and horn.
10)Double check all you work before and after your first few rides. /
