Our Home, Our Earth

April 22, 2018 @ 10:30 A.M.

Psalm 104 celebrates the amazing gift of creation that we are in a constant state of enjoying. We have been raised on the idea of the "scared earth", the "good creation" most of us we use this language quit comfortably.

Now we are living in critical ecological times, when how we use, conquer and exploit the earth and her resources has become a serious theological issue, in our personal relationship to Creation.

Why does any to this matter: The Doctrine of Revelation! God is and always has been revealed to us in nature. Take a look around you and your eyes will be filled with the glory of God's wonder. The Song of Faith, like Ps 104 describes Creation in all diversity, complexity, and interdependence, with humans as one of the many strands in the web of life. Caring for and the mending of creation is part of God's plan and also the work of the church.

Communion is served. Everyone is welcome to participate.
