CONDITIONS FOR USE OF EQUESTRIAN FACILITIES:
Neither D.H.P.C. nor anyone from Newnham Park is available during the day and accordingly all those who wish to school their horses/ponies do so entirely at their own risk.
1 The D.H.P.C. and all those connected with the Equestrian facilities, save for the death or personal injury caused by negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers, The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the Landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss ,damage ,injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Use of the facilities are only permitted on this basis.
2 The Organisers have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the officials present.
3 All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The Dartmoor Hunt Branch of the Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you.
4 It is an express condition of every person entering upon the Equestrian facilities that he/she agrees, and if he/she is under 18 years of age, his/her parents and/or accompanying adult also agree, that he/she does so at his/her own risk and voluntarily accepts the risk of injury or damage that is implicit in riding a horse on the premises.
All juniors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
Properly fitting hard riding hats and body protectors, to current British standards, and riding boots must be worn at all times whilst mounted.
