It is our great pleasure to express our sincere thanks for your continuous Educational Service rendered towards our institution. We feel happy that some one is there to take care of us in the past and the future.

With reference to your previous mail we are enclosing our student requirements.

a) Education:

The expense to assist a girl to continue her studies in colleges cost Rs. 10,000/- Per Year. The total college students were 8 in numbers, 2 girls in I Year B.A and 6 girls in II Year B.A. The cost for their studies were 8 * 10,000 = 80,000/-, which includes

  2. Braille Papers
  3. Braille Books & Notes
  4. Purchase of Books
  5. College fees
  6. Exam fees
  7. Scriber fees

Tape Recorders

As they were visually impaired, to learn more and score good marks it will be so useful for our college girls, If you can help them with Tape Recorders with dubbing facility 3 in numbers, each cost Rs. 4,000/- (3*4000 = 12,000/-) for our college students.

By sanctioning this, the entire 8 college students will get benefited by this year.

b) Computer Training:

As you know already about the Computer Program to our students, it will be so helpful for them if 3 computers were sanctioned for their studies. So that using the JAWS software, they can learn more and practice well in order to compete with normally visioned to grab their job opportunities and settle in life.

c) Transportation:

As our girl’s talents, skills and interests were not similar, transportation will be useful

To pick up and drop our college girls in their corresponding colleges as it is very dangerous to travel in bus and hot sun alone.

To pick up and drop our other blind girls involved in church activities.

To pick up and drop our girls interested in cultural competitions.

To pick up and drop our girls performing programs in All India Radio.

To pick up and drop our Girls needs eye treatment to hospitals regularly.

Sales

Our girls involved in chalk piece making, candle making, tailoring, Recanning, wire bag making, weaving, phenyl making, screen printing, Agarbathis, and bakery products.

We were in a situation to earn revenue to run our institution through these products, which were made by our inmates. In order to earn revenue, we were doing sales in most of the places like BHEL, Jamal Mohamad College , All Saints Church, MAM College and etc.

This will be very helpful if you help us by providing a traveler van or a diesel auto, in order to earn revenue through sales, to run our institution and for the welfare of the girls for the above mentioned reasons.

Traveler Delivery Van – Rs. 5,30,665/- without A.C.

Diesel Auto – Rs. 1,71,087/-.

d) Extra Curricular:

9 girls were learning Music in Music College as a regular day’s colr. Out of 9 girls two were Selvamani and Regina completed their Lower and switching on to Higher in Music. And Kavitha, Baby, Sumathi were regular Music College Student.

where as other 4 girls were learning Guitar and Keyboard in Bharathidasan University as regular students.

If you can help them with a guitar, Harmonium and Key board it will be so useful for them to develop their skill and to get employed even in government quota.

The entire 9 music students will get benefited, if this gets sanctioned.
