This survey is being conducted by the Butler County Recycling and Solid WasteDistrict toidentify the type and amount of recyclables received from within Butler County during calendar year 2016. The District will use the information in this survey for summary purposes only; no company’s survey response will be reported individually.Your response to this survey will help measure Butler County’s progress toward the state-mandated recycling goals.

1 Spent cooking fat or vegetable oil from commercial sources is a liquid waste and should not be included.
2 Do not include metals from auto bodies, train boxcars, or construction and demolition debris (C&DD) in the ferrous and/or non-ferrous categories.
C&DD includes metals used in theconstruction of residential buildings such as plumbing, siding, framing, etc.
3 Report all wood waste except wood originating from yard waste or C&DD. Wood originating from yard waste should be reported on the next line
(i.e., “Yard Trimmings”).
4 Includes computers, computer related equipment, televisions, cell phones, etc., from residential sources only.
