Revisions and Late Work
While revisions of graded essays are not accepted, conferring with me about revising and editing a draft prior to submission is encouraged and sometimes required.
If you are absent, it is your responsibility to check with me the day you return about assignments missed, or e-mail me at . If you are absent from school the day an assignment is due, you must submit it the day you return for full credit. If you are absent from class the day an assignment is due but are otherwise in school that day, you must leave the assignment in room D25 by 2:00 P.M.
Unless there are extenuating circumstances discussed with me prior to the due date, it is Department Policy that you will have up to two days past the due date to hand in work. You may be penalized one grade increment per day late.
Never hand in work “borrowed” from another student, book, or online source. Doing so constitutes plagiarism, even if you change the wording to make it your own. If plagiarism is detected, you will receive a zero for the work in question.
