December 24, 2012 / Brochure and Applications Available at Reception DesksFirst week of January 2013 / Mailing to currently enrolled 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, and 11th graders in the Fulton County School System. The mail is dropped by January 3, 2013
January 6, 2013 through February 23, 2013 / Pre-enrollment registration of currently enrolled students at Hapeville Charter Schools
January 26, 2013 / Informational/Application Meeting #1 at 10:00 am for prospective new students
February 23, 2013 / Informational/Application Meeting #2 at 10:00 am for prospective new students
February 27, 2013 – See the NOTE* / Lottery processing – 2:00 pm. The public is invited. Scheduled in Conference Room A – 6045 Buffington Road. Video taped session.
March 1, 2013 / Tentative roster of prospective new students for 2013-2014 to be sent to FCBOE
NOTE*
If the total of the new enrollment registration number for 2013-2014 plus the pre-enrollment (currently enrolled) registration number for 2012-2013 after the February 23, 2013Informational/Application Meeting exceeds the maximum number of available seats (for grade levels 6 through 12) a lottery system will be implemented for all new enrollees at the middle school and/or at the high school by effected grade level. The lottery will be conducted on February 27, 2013. Lottery Notifications of acceptances will be mailed to all applicants after March 5, 2013.
If the total of the new enrollment registration number for 2013-2014 plus the pre-enrollment (currently enrolled) registration number for 2012-2013 after the February 23, 2013Informational/Application Meeting is equal to, or less than the maximum number of available seats (for grades 6 through 12), a lottery will not be conducted. All subsequent applications will be received as “first come, first serve” until the maximum enrollment level is attained for each of the grade levels. Acceptance letters will be mailed after March 5, 2013.
