Supplement

This supplement will show some of the locations for mounting the equipment included in this scale system.

The installations shown are not required locations they are only intended as a guide.

Head Unit Mounting

The customer mounted the head unit to the right hand post trim panel. The head unit cable was routed down the post and under the right hand console back to the junction box.

Load Sensor Installation

This is the location for the BSP tee fitting. On the right hand side of the loader, Install the tee in the lift cylinderpressure side.

Load SensorMounting

The Load Sensor is located in the same area as the tee fitting once the sensor is installed it will be mounted vertical with the hose fitting on the top not horizontal and the wire pointed down toward the ground. pressure sensor are mounted on the side of the machine, using the clamp brackets. Supplied it may be required to enlarge the clamp hole to use the existing bolt.

Reference/Direction Sensor

The Ref/Dir sensor mounting bracket for this installation was fabricated to fit the machine. And bolted to the plate by drilling 2 holes, 2 7/32” holes deep enough to use a bottom ¼” tap and ½” ¼” by 20 bolts. the optimum distance from the boom pivot pin is found to be 200mm, The sensor marked D is always located closest to the ground!

Reference/Direction Sensor

A clamp bracket is supplied for mounting the Reference “R” on the top. And the Direction “D” sensor on the bottom.The blue magnet is mounted to the lift arm as shown.By drilling and tapping the lift arm below the centerline of the lift arm. Or by the bracket supplied and bolted to the lift arm by drilling and tapping the lift arm.

Wiring and Connections

The power and ground connections can be made behind the dash console, power can be found at the key switch, the toggle switch needs to be installed in the power cable and mounted in dash,it is needed for Calibration. A suitable metal ground may be found under the dash as well. The junction box is loacated behind the right side dash.

Wiring and Connections

The sensor cables once routed through the center of the machine and into the cab on the right side, and to the junction box. Use the black loom to cover the cables to help prevent premature failure. Use caution when routing cables through the center of the machine

Remote Enter Switch

The remote enter switch needs to be mounted to allow easy . access by the operator.

The Cable end is routed under the console and back to the junction box.

Optional Equipment

plan if other optional equipment is to be installed such as a Printer you will need to or mounting this equipment as well. The printer cable one end runs to the head unit and the other end to the printer. Plan ahead when routing the gray head unit cable and route the cable for the printer at the same time.
