I would like to say Thank You to our parents for keeping me updated about concerns. I appreciate your openness and honesty. This is a learning experience for me, too!! Please feel free to call any time you have questions or concerns. I know we are going to have a great year!!!
Meet our Choreographers
Chelsie Threatt – Chelsie is currently a student at Hopkinsville Community College majoring in Social Work. She plans a career in Oncology Social Work. She has been dancing for 6 years and danced for both CCMS and CCHS. While participating in her sorority, she has choreographed dances for their Greek Competitions!! Welcome Chelsie
Katelyn Joiner – Katelyn is also a student at Hopkinsville Community College majoring in English. She has been dancing for 10 years and danced for both CCMS and CCHS, too!!! She was a Dance Captain her junior year at CCHS and was Head Captain her senior year!!! Welcome Katelyn
National Dance Day News
I was very proud of our girls for their performance at National Dance Day. We know we still have some work to do but we all gave our best effort for our debut performance. I have a SUPER team picture with the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders. I will make sure each of you get a copy! I am also submitting it for this year’s yearbook J
What if I can’t make it to practice?
If you are absent from school for any reason or you check out during the day, you are automatically excused from practice. If you have something after school that will keep you from attending practice, please let us know. As long as we know you aren’t going to be there, it will be considered excused. Please don’t “just go home” and not let us know about it. We are depending on you to be at practice so we will look amazing when we perform!!!
Second Try-Out Information
Due to many changes in the district this past summer, Mr. Bentzel has asked us to hold a second try-out for those students who were not able to try-out last year. This will take place after school on August 30. Current Dance Team Members are not required to stay. We may or may not be adding additional members. See Mrs. Longar if you have any questions.
