The Graduate Internship Scheme is a collaboration between the University of Sunderland, a recent Graduate and a regional SME. The Scheme has been designed to benefit both the Graduate and the company, ensuring that the Graduate takes the first steps on the career ladder whilst the company benefits from the Graduates enthusiasm, expertise and up to date knowledge.

The Internship is a full time position, for a 12 month fixed term period, based at Oatein Ltd at Whitley Bay.

The Organisation:

TheOatein Flapjack Barwas developed over a 9 month time period. Our Baker, who has produced innovative fitness supplements for many industry leading brands was able to create something new for us. Together, using our knowledge and expertise of over 20 years in the industry, we were able to produce a tasty and nutritious sports snack. It was something the sports nutrition market hadn’t seen before. A home baked tasty snack that gave the home comforts of freshly baked flapjacks straight from the oven. We decided on an oat based recipe for a nutritionally balanced and guilt free treat.TheOatein Flapjackwas produced in six mouth-watering flavours includingBanoffee Pie,Cherry Bakewell,Chocolate Peanut Butter,Strawberry Cheesecake,Chocolate ChipandCookies and Cream. http://oatein.com/

The Role:

Oatein Ltd are looking for a candidate who is energetic and hard working. As the new a website administrator you be involved in the process of bring some of their exciting and innovative ideas to life. You will be involved in setting up and managing all products, prices, web categories and imagery on the website Optimising web product sales performance.

Responsibilities

·  Perform regular reviews of the company’s website to ensure content accuracy, product optimisation and efficiency in customer journey

·  Work with the digital and wider marketing team to execute special projects related to ecommerce

·  Supporting omni-channel activity

·  Recommend website optimisation, merchandising and innovative changes to elevate digital marketing results

·  Responding to and addressing all emails sent to the website inbox

·  Ownership of customer review functionality; monitoring/escalating feedback

Required Skills

·  Graduate in a relevant sector

·  Experience within an ecommerce team, ideally within a B2C environment

·  Commercially astute with drive, determination and a self-start attitude

·  Strong organisational skills as well as the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

·  Good communication skills, both written and verbal

·  Excel and Google Analytics experience

·  Basic knowledge of HTML & Magento desirable
