PPC PISTOL MATCH

WHEN: / January 22, 23, 24, & 25, 2009 (Thursday and Friday the range will be open from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.)
WHERE: / The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Indoor Range, 1201 N. Telegraph Rd, Pontiac, MI 48341. (Come in the north side door, the range is in the basement.)
EQUIPMENT: / Revolver/Pistol and other NRA accessories. Eye and hearing protection are REQUIRED and must be supplied by the competitor. Ammunition may be hand or factory loaded semi-wad cutter, wad cutter or service. NO MAGNUM AMMO. Ammunition shall be provided by the competitor.
COURSE OF FIRE: / NRA indoor P.P.C., 60 rounds, fired at 50’ on a B-27R target. Stage 1 will be 12 rounds in 20 seconds. Scoring will be on the Lewis system and will be done by the range staff. Challenges $1.00. NO ALIBI’S NRA rules will be guidelines; O.C.S.O. team has the final say on all disputes, ties and decisions. The range will be available for the posted times only! No sight-ins or pre-shooting
We will be having a 60 round SERVICE MATCH again this year. The course of fire will be the same as the PPC match but you must use a 4” Revolver or 5” Semi-Auto. This is a CASH match with 50% being returned to the 5 class winners in 3 places.

You must be present for any door prizes. With the exception of the RAFFLE, you may only win one gun. Door prizes and/or awards will start at approximately 6:00pm.
RAFFLE: / A Match Competitor Raffle (Springfield Trophy Match .45). Tickets will be $10.00 each (only 500 printed).
ATTENTION SHOOTERS:If you are shooting both matches Sunday try to get to the range early. Canadian shooters will be given the same situation we have offered them in the past. Guns will revert to the property of the team if not picked up in 30 days.
BANQUET: / We will have the same delicious ROAST BEEF menu as in the past, as well as refreshments. Dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the UAW Hall, 670 E. Walton Blvd., Pontiac, MI. 248-373-7774. (between Joslyn Rd. and Perry St.) Maps will be available at the range.
REGISTRATION: / Cost at the door will be $45 PPC and $25 SERVICEU.S. funds. Fee includes individual match, door prizes, and dinner for one. There will NOT be an aggregate match.
Extra dinner tickets are $8.00 each. Children 10 and under are free.
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES OR GAMBLING ALLOWED AT THE RANGE. Due to lack of roomNO SPECTATORS ALLOWED IN THE RANGE.
Refreshments will be served in the registration/prep room. There will be a light lunch on Saturday.
COMPETITORS MUST BE 18 YEARS OF AGE TO SHOOT IN THIS MATCH!
