6 / SEA GREEN WIND ENERGY
Chris Bell and Alistair Davidson were welcomed to the meeting to give a presentation on a joint venture with FLUOR UK Ltd and Scottish & Southern Energy to deliver offshore wind farms. Community Councillors asked a number of questions around timescales, planning permissions, effect on Tealing and consultation processes but given the very early nature of the project a number of these questions were unable to be answered. Chris Bell advised that consultation with the local community was planned for early 2011 and that we would be kept informed of the next steps. He also advised that a scoping document was currently being prepared which would include a list of individuals to be consulted and a copy would be send to the Community Council. Graeme Reoch thanked Chris and Alistair for attending the meeting and for their presentation. / Chris Bell
