Dear Parents:

Welcome to the San Diego All-Stars. We have organized a competitive club team that will play against the best competition in the country. Your child is being offered the opportunity to hone his skills and to continue to develop in a competitive environment.

Commitments

All players are expected to attend all practices and games. If a player is to miss one of these, they must call their coach to inform them. Practice is twice a week, Additional practices may be added during peak activity periods.

Participating on our teams will be a rewarding experience because of the level of competition in both practice and games, and the exposure offered at events we enter.

The effort put forth by a player will dictate his playing time. Developing a dedication to athletic development (by attending all practices) while staying focused on academics and getting good grades provides an important life lesson on athletic and academic commitment and goals. Playing time is not guaranteed, but all players will participate if they are committed.

Coaching

All of our coaches are dedicated people who only want the best for their team and players. In order to be effective leaders we must permit them to coach without parental interference. We welcome your help and input, but the coaches are the decision makers. The best time to talk to coaches about your son is before or after practice. You may also call the coach at any time. Please do not attempt a discussion during games or immediately following games.

Cost

There is a seasonal registration fee of $350. This fee covers the SDA spirit pack, which includes, Uniforms, Warm up, and Back Pack (which you keep if you complete the season), insurance, gym rental, and coaches’ fees. Registration fees are due ASAP. Monthly club fees are $115 and should be paid on the 1st of the month. Players on each team will split additional tournament fees. If you have any questions or concern in regards to the fees, contact Coach Bazz. Checks are payable to: San Diego All-Stars and can be given directly to your coach.

We look forward to having your child in our program. We take the responsibility of guiding young men seriously and will always put their interests first. “It takes a village to raise a child”. This is our village.
