TOTNES GOOD FOOD SUNDAY CHRISTMAS MARKET

TOTNES MARKET SQUARE - 10am to 3pm

With the run-up to Christmas in full swing, Totnes will be the main town in Devon to make a bee-line to for all Westcountry ‘foodies’ who want to stock up on those extra special tasty tit-bits that make for a mouth-watering festive season. Totnes’ award winning monthly food market has more fantastic food stalls than any other farmers’/producers’ market in our region. And at this time of the year, 50+ fantastic food traders descend on Totnes on the third Sunday of December with stalls full to bursting with lots and lots of Christmas fare.

Our regions traders will fill Totnes market square and surrounding area with decorative stalls selling everything from local cheeses to farm assured meats, breads, preserves, pickles and olives; there will be the town’s own brewed beer, mulled cider and Plymouth gin and many more temptations. Plus lots of hot-food to go, keeping everyone well fuelled as they wander from stall to stall, soaking up the atmosphere of this wonderful year round food market. Ray the Market organiser said, “It never ceases to amaze me as to how much good food is being grown and produced in our area and it is a privilege to be part of helping to showcase this wonderful grub. The vitality and enthusiasm of the markets’ traders and the quality of their goods keeps the TGFS market right at the top of the Westcountry food market tree.” So remember, Totnes Good Food is not just for Christmas - It’s on your doorstep to enjoy every third Sunday of the month throughout the year, with ever changing seasonal goodies.
