·  Call meeting to order (MEETING CAME TO ORDER AT 10:00AM)

·  Welcome

·  Introduction

o  Start with Head Table –NJCAA SCA President, Vice President, Secretary

o  Coaches round the room - State Name, College, & Tenure

·  Approve Meeting Minutes from last year’s meeting (2013). (MEETING MINUTES FROM LAST YEAR APPROVED)

·  2013 OLD business

o  Congratulations to DI National Champions Iowa Western College - Coach Jordan Carver

o  Congratulations to DIII National Champions – Herkimer CCC - Coach Pepe Aragon

·  2013 NEW business

o  National Poll Discussion – Reporting Requirements

·  National Poll (NJCAA & NSCAA) Ranking Chairs :

·  DI –Mike Pantalione, Yavapai, AZ

·  DIII- Andy Davis, Tompkins Cortland CC)

·  NSCAA College Service Discussions

o  NJCAA DIII National Tournament Discussions – Go back to seeding 8 teams (current= top 4 seeded last 4 are drawn)

·  2014 NJCAA DIII National Tournament is at Herkimer CCC, NY

NJCAA DIII National Tournament Discussions

-  Vote to seed ALL 8 Teams at National Tournament

Vote was unanimous to seed all 8 teams.

o  NJCAA DI National Tournament Discussions –

·  2014 NJCAA DI National Tournament is in Prescott AZ.

·  Day off between semis and finals. (At minimum play semis early, finals later in day)

Vote was unanimous for day off between semis and finals

·  Move to 8 automatic qualifiers either 3 at large and host or 4 at large.

o  NJCAA – Division I – International update

o  NJCAA All-America Team Discussions –

o  NSCAA All-America Team Discussions (DIII NSCAA national JUCO Chair: Andrew Davis, Tompkins Cortland CC, NY, Jordan Carver DI NSCAA national JUCO Chair)

o  Jackets will be coming for NJCAA All-Americans.

o  NJCAA SCA representatives - This term will expire August of 2014

o  Spring Games will move to 5 in 2015.

·  Open Discussion for Anyone in Room

Discussions included 1. Having home team to keep stats 2. Yellow card discussion 3. Increase LOI (non-scholarship) 4. Official ball with NJCAA with ideas of Wilson, Under Armour and Adidas
