North Country Kickers
March/April 2017 Newsletter
President’s Comments:
Hey, hey, hey, we are well underway!
Our 2017 dancing season has started off with a bang, several new faces, several new members, and plenty of our seasoned veterans. The dances have been popular with the group and our numbers continue to increase. It’s not too late for new dancers to join us. If you know of any prospects, invite them to come dance with us. We are fortunate to be able to maintain our membership dues at their current level. Our membership numbers, and costs remain stable, some are fixed costs, some are not. Maintaining or increasing our membership numbers provides stability in the amount we charge for membership dues. We are not getting older, we are getting better (some days I have good reason to question that)! As I look back on the years of dancing that we have done, I can think of only one thing…why didn’t we start this sooner? I am proud and happy to have you join me as a member of the North Country Kickers. I hope this club brings you as much joy as it brings me!
Happy Dancing, your president,

Dance lessons are going well. We have finished several lessons. Ilook forward to seeing each of you every week. Remember to practice the dances that we have learned. When we practice, we get more enjoyment out of dancing and have a lot more fun. Also, remember to practice dance floor etiquette.Line dancers, please give dancers on the outside room to dance. Dancers on the outside, help the line dancers by telling them that you are coming along side of them. Our club will succeed when we all help each other. Have a blessed day!

The Valentine Dance is Friday, Feb. 24th from 7:00 to 10:30 PM at Equity Hall. Because of a scheduling conflict with Equity Hall, we had to change the date of this dance to Friday evening. The good news is the hall rental is cheaper for Friday evening verses Saturday evening! Remember, snacks are always welcome, along with members to work the door!

In case any of you wonder where I might be for the rest of the dance lessons, I am scheduled to have a hip replacement on Feb. 27th and will need some recuperation time. Debi Guarisco has graciously offered to fill in for me, so if anyone needs information that I usually supply, please contact Debi at 715-927-8028.
I hope to be dancing with all of youreal soon!
