STALL INFORMATION

All stalls are approximately 5’ X 10’. Hogs, Lambs, & Goats require one (1) stall. Cattle require two (2) stalls. Poultry require at least 2 stalls (10’ x 10’ each). Stall fees are as follows:

Cattle Stall Fee (per stall)$ 100

Hog, Lamb, & Goats Stall Fee (per stall)$ 85

Poultry Stall Fee (10’X10’) (per stall)$ 60

Tack / Feed / Hay Storage

There will not be a locked location for you to store your tack, feed, or hay at the facility. You may store all of these items in the storage containers if you so choose. You should have some type of box/can that can be locked to put all of your Tack and Feed inside. We do not have the space to permit storage of Hay in boxes. If you choose to leave your possessions unsecured, you will do so at your own risk.

Animal Health

The Ag Center will provide monthly deworming for all Cattle, Sheep, Goats, and Swine in the facility. All other medical supply needs should be directed to a Veterinarian. All medications should be given according to label and Veterinarian directives. You are expected to maintain your animal’s health at all times to prevent the spread of infection in the facility. If your animal shows sign of sickness, you should take immediate actions.

INVOICES

Once all stalls are assigned you will receive an invoice from the Ag Dept. for your stall fee. There will be specific deadlines for paying these invoices. If you do not satisfy all fees timely your stall request will be dropped and awarded another student. You may NOT move an animal onto the DPISD Property until payment of invoices is made. Payment plans are available under special circumstances.

REFUND INFORMATION

Full refund is available until April 24th.

Half refund is available from April 25th through May 29th.

There will be NO REFUNDS after May 29th.

PLSR2010 STALL SELECTION

Please make your selection by placing the word steer, heifer, swine, turkey, broiler, lamb, rabbit, or goat in the space below (example: 1st choice- steer, 2nd choice- steer, 3rd choice- swine). All students eligible will receive their 1st stall before any students 2nd stall is awarded. The awarding of stalls is based on grade level seniority. Please remember, this form is only a request for selection of stalls, not a guarantee. Space may be limited.
