Cherokee Casino & Hotel – Roland, OK
Summary
Cherokee Nation Businesses (CNB), a wholly owned tribal company of the Cherokee Nation, is seeking qualified bids for three-dimension (3D) art to display within the newly constructed Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Roland, Oklahoma.
LA 25-05 requires all Cherokee Nation construction and/or renovation projects $500,000+ to set aside 1% of the total project cost for the procurement of culturally appropriate art. The use of these funds allows the Cherokee Nation to share our rich history, culture and heritage through visual art.
CNB only accepts bids from Cherokee Nation citizens who can provide identification as such and artists previously designated Cherokee National Treasures.
Description
CNB invites artists to submit bids for 3D art for the Cherokee Casino & Hotel in Roland, Oklahoma. Selected art will be featured throughout the casino hotel rooms. The committee will consider 3D art related to Cherokee history, culture and heritage. Examples of past art include the following:

- Stickballs
- Small masks
- Gourd carving
- Clay art
- Weaving, round or flat
- Hand painted feathers
- Pucker toe moccasins
- Beadwork and jewelry
- Wood carving
- Blow gun darts
- Traditional arrow
- Blowgun
Roland Hotel 3D 1
CNB will consider bids of other items that would enhance hotel rooms.
Size Requirements: The size limit is up to 30” width by 10” height. Given the dimensions, we can accept items up to 2” depth.
Textile submissions can be longer if it is acceptable to fold or crease the piece to accommodate the required dimensions.
CNE Buyer Talia Myres has two locations to submit final works with invoices and descriptions.

Selections will be made during the week of March 9. Talia will notify artists shortly thereafter.
Invoices are due at the time of delivery. Please let Talia know if you are an enrolled Cherokee Nation citizen and not yet registered as a vendor so we can begin the artist vendor registration process.
