- The mission of KinderSee is to provide excellent vision for every child without regard to financial resources so each child can reach his or her educational and life potential.
- Donations will go to provide eyeglasses, transportation and other related costs associated with treating the vision needs of the students in the School District of Lancaster.
- The Lancaster Education Foundation is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) and donations are tax deductible.

The donor agrees that the Lancaster Education Foundation shall be authorized to manage the funds in the KinderSee account without limitation, except as set forth herein. The spending rate will be determined annually. The Lancaster Education Foundation (LEF) charges an annual administrative fee equal to 5% of total contributions within the LEF fiscal year. It is further agreed that, if at some future time, the Foundation determines that the need for aforementioned purpose no longer exists or that the principal/fund balance amount remaining is insufficient for that purpose, the Foundation is authorized to add to said fund or combine with the fund with other funds in similar purpose or to use such money or property as it shall determine at its discretion.

I had a cello player switched from violin to cello and seemed to be a natural... except she was really struggling with reading music, even when I let her write in her note names. I didn't understand why she kept stopping during the music, and I thought it was because she wasn't practicing enough. It took me a month to realize she really couldn't see the notes clearly. Two weeks later shereceived glasses from KinderSee, and it made all the difference. Her playing improved so much that she is now playingin an advanced community string group and has made it to district orchestra as well!

KinderSeehas been a movement in my classroom! I have had two students that have received glasses and countless others that were evaluated for the first time. As a teacher, you worry about not only their academics, but their well being. It has been such a blessing to have them right here at school!
