RE: SEMESTRAL ASSESSMENT 2 FOR PRIMARY 3

  1. Please find enclosed, information on the upcoming Semestral Assessment 2.
  1. Weightage

The exam weightage for the year is as follows:

SA1 / SA2
40% / 60%
  1. Materials Needed

Please be reminded that your child would be required to bring the following stationery and materials for the examination:

  • 2B pencils, an eraser and a ruler
  • Mathematical Instrument set for Mathematics paper only
  • Approved electronic and/or printed dictionary for Mother Tongue composition papers only
  1. Absence during assessment
  1. We would like to remind you that if your child/ward is sick on the day of assessment, a medical certificate has to be submitted to his/her Form Teacher on the day that he/she returns to school. A letter of excuse would not be accepted.
  2. There will be no make-up assessment.
  1. Early school dismissal
  2. Please take note of the following changes to school hours on the following days to facilitate the conduct of the assessments and the centralized marking exercises.

  1. Suspension of CCAs

CCAs will be suspended on Friday, 27 October 2017.

  1. Recess timing

Kindly note the change in recess timing during the assessment period.
