Through our Risk Management department at the Rosen Beach Hotel, our vision is to sustain and enhance the guest experience by providing a safe and Hazard free environment.

Consulting Team B will develop their Wiki based on a 12 year old Florida West coast Sheraton Franchise leisure Beach property. It is a mid-scale 24 acre 2 floor structure (20 buildings) that has 630 guestrooms, a restaurant that seats 150 and a lounge that seats 75.

Security

Collects and administrates the logging of all Lost Property turned into the Security Office, and storing it in a timely matter for the Lost and Found Investigator.

2. Acts as dispatcher and observes surveillance monitors as needed.

3. Answers phone in the Security Office and performs light office work such as, but not limited to, filing, copying, computer data entry, etc.

4. Maintains the objectives, policies, and procedures laid out in the Boca Resort and Club handbooks, training materials, memorandums, directives, as well as state and federal standards.

5. Prioritizes and organizes work assignments.

6. Investigates all incidents reported occurring on their shift that are relevant to the four categories: Crime, Incidents, Medical Emergencies, and Traffic.

7. Assists in identifying trends on their shift, creating strategic plans, and preventing similar occurrences in the future.

8. Assists in conducting weekly safety inspections and monthly limited response fire and medical aid drills.

9. When called on to do so, provides expert testimony on behalf of the Boca Raton Resort and Club in litigation matters pertaining to prosecution, defense, or Liability.

10.When present at the scene of any medical emergency, acts as afirst responder, and

assesses and renders appropriate first aidand/or other life saving techniques, and, if

necessary andprudent, requeststhe dispatch of additional EmergencyService personnel,

such as paramedics.

Internal and External Security Measures

·  Internal - 24 Hour surveillance in all common areas including, parking lots, hallways, elevators, stairs, entryways of the hotel, restaurant, lounge, and beach.

·  Internal – Patrol all common areas every hour for 24 hours a day.

·  External – Front Gate security for guests and non-guests entering the property.

·  External – 24 Hour Parking Lot Patrol & Sun-up to Sun-down Beach Patrol with Patrollers passing through the beach every hour throughout the night.
