DearSteven Mead,

Thank you for speaking to me about volunteer opportunities for students at the Auburn Valley YMCA. The Y is a great place for students who need community service hours or who want to build skills for future employment. To ensure the most postive experience, we match volunteer interests and skills with our positions. I have attached a list of these positions.

Currently, the Y has 10 volunteer position openings. I have attached a volunteer application, interest survey and two reference forms. Once completed, the student collects the forms and calls our volunteer coordinator, Amy Jahn for an in-person orientation. This will take about 30 minutes. Of note, we ask for a minimum volunteer commitment of 25 hours.

Please phone Amy at 253-876-7557 or email at for future contact. We look forward to providing valuable volunteer experieces for your students.
