Appreciation of Poetry
For this project you will need to read many poems, and select 3 of your favorites that relate to a theme.
- Copy them exactly as the author has written them.
- Include the title and the author’s name.
- Include an illustration for each poem.
- Each poem needs to be on a separate piece of paper.
- Write a paragraph for each poem, explaining what the author means in his/her poem. Be sure to include the mood of the poem, and what words or techniques the author uses to get that mood across to the reader.
