THE APPLICANT MUST BE A FINAL UNDERGRADUATE ADMIT IN THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE AND ENROLLED FULL TIME BEFORE BEING CONSIDERED FOR THE TUITION AWARD. TUITION AWARD DOES NOT APPLY TO GRADUATE STUDENTS

  1. Tuition Awards are limited and will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
  2. The applicant must provide proof of Arizona residency at the beginning of each academic year (ex. AZ driver’s license; AZ identification) and enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester.
  3. Students who do not enroll for fall or spring semester or who take less than 12 credit hours and/or who do not have a 2.5 GPA for priority I or 2.0 for priority V at the end of the Spring Semester, will automatically be out of the program and must reapply.
  4. Returning students from WNMU must reapply in April for the next academic year.
  5. Returning students must submit a student copy of their WNMU transcript.
  6. No waivers will be issued after census date (3rd week from the first day of class).

I hereby certify that I am a permanent resident of Arizona and will not attempt to become a resident of New Mexico while enrolled in this program, and if I receive the tuition award and decide not to attend WNMU I agree to notify the WNMU Admissions Office prior to registration. I understand that failure to attend WNMU for the designated semester will result in the forfeit of my tuition award. If I am found to be falsifying this application, I will be subject to out-of-state rates.

The Arizona Tuition Award is restricted to undergraduate students only. Listed below are the priorities in which the applications are reviewed.

Priority I Returning WNMU student on the waiver with a cumulative WNMU G.P.A. of 2.5

Priority II Final transfer students from Eastern Arizona College, Cochise College, Pima College, or Northland

Pioneer College (depending on waiver applied for), with a cumulative G.P.A. of 2.0

Priority III Greenlee/Grahamis limited to five (5) waivers for First Time any CollegeStudents with a 2.0G.P.A.

Priority IV Final Arizona residents from other counties with a 2.0.

Priority V Returning WNMU students with less than a 2.5 but no less than a 2.0.
