Rotary Barbeque Fest

Dear Potential “Barbeque Fest” Restaurant sponsor:
The Rotary Club of Lake Mary is pleased to announce our 1st Annual Rotary “Barbeque Fest” to be held at the Seminole Harley Davidson, 620 Hickman Circle, Sanford, FL. This year’s event will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 5:00pm to 9:00pm.
We are seeking restaurants that would like to participate in this premier event. It is our intent to provide a professional, fun event, which will showcase barbeque dishes from the finest restaurants in our area. We would require donatingtwo of your signature dishes that would serve the anticipated number of attendees. The final selection of the dishes will be decided with the Lake Mary Rotary’s Food Coordinator.
Some of the benefits from participating in this event include:
- Showcase your restaurant to over 500 area residents.
- Promotional exposure through some of the media outlets listed on the vendors’ spec sheet.
- Demonstrate your company’s support of the community through this fund raising event (we have raised
over $100,000 in the previous five years for various charities in our area)
If you are interested in participating in the event, please complete the attached registration sheet and return it as indicated by September 15, 2010. We will follow up with you shortly to answer any questions you may have.
This is a local event where businesses and residents will enjoy gathering for music and barbeque, while at the same time supporting charitable causes.Following in our traditions of prior events our expectations in 2010 are to have close to 500 guests attending this year’s event.
All proceeds are reinvested into our community and Rotary Foundation humanitarian and educational causes. Local organizations supported previously include: Seminole State College, Kid’s House, YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs Sharing Center, Safe House, Rescue Outreach Mission, Wings of Hope, Harvest Time International, Christian HELP foundation, Harvest Time International, Mountain of Hope, Shepherd’s Hope, Stepping Onward, Urban Adventures, Lake Mary High & Prepatory School InteractClubsto name a few.
Please join us at this premier event where businesses and residents enjoy gathering for an evening of wonderful food, GREAT music and fellowship while at the same time supporting a wonderful cause. This is an excellent marketing opportunity for your business and a fun event to entertain clients, associates or employees.
