Trauma 2010: “Don’t Gamble with Your Life!”
Fifth Annual
Nursing Poster Presentation: Sharing our Best
The Advocate Injury Institute (AI2) is pleased to present the Fifth Annual Nursing Poster Presentation at the Advocate Injury Institute “Trauma 2010: Don’t Gamble with Your Life!” Trauma Symposium will be held on November 18 -19, 2010 at the Wydham Hotel, Warrenville, Illinois.
This year we will continue to use the format of a poster presentation so that more of the exciting initiatives that are taking place in the trauma community can be shared without the stress of a formal competition. However, due to popular demand we will continue to have the “People’s Choice Award” as voted by symposium attendees. Due to limited space we will request an abstract that explains your poster so that we can choose the posters from a variety of presenters. Abstracts for the poster presentation should reflect current trauma related initiatives that you are using at your facility. This can include: injury prevention activities, process improvement or patient care initiatives.
Presenters may submit abstracts for more than one poster; however the review committee prefers to accept posters from a variety of presenters. The primary presenter of the poster will receive paid admission to the 2-day trauma symposium. There will be a limited number of posters that will be accepted, so it is important to submit your application as soon as possible.
