People and Organisation – Human Resources

The HR Service Desk is the primary point of contact for guidance and advice on terms and conditions HR policies and processes for all staff members. We also provide support on sickness absence administration, changes in personal details, reference requests, Contractor/Agency workers, leaving notifications and all general employment related enquiries. The HR Service desk can be contacted by email or phone #6200.

The HR Advisors provide support on staff recruitment and selection, probation, absence, the administration of contracts and payroll arrangements and the administration of family friendly schemes.

The HR Business Partners work to support the Schools and Professional Services to achieve their annual business plans, supporting managers to lead change within the Schools and departments and advise on workforce/staff planning. They advise managers and staff on employment relations issues.
