VIRTUS, Child Safety Training
A VIRTUS, Safety of Children training session will take place on Wednesday, May 27th, from 6:00 - 9:00PM in the parish hall. All parish ministers and groups members whose activity brings them into contact with children and teens, and all school volunteers must be VIRTUS trained. All other parishioners are cordially invited to participate. You will find the session interesting and informative. The training is offered in both English and Spanish. No children please! Please register by calling the rectory at (818) 365-3967.
MEMORIAL DAY MASS
Our annual Memorial Day Mass will be celebrated at San Fernando Mission Cemetery on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 10:00 AM. The Principal Celebrant and homilist this year will be His Excellency, Bishop Gerald Wilkerson.
EUCHARISTIC PRESENTATION
The ACTS Tri-Parish and Knights of Columbus invite you to watch and reflect on Fr. Barron’s Eucharist presentation this Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at the Knights of Columbus on Maclay St. in San Fernando from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. This presentation will end on June 2nd with Eucharist Adoration at Santa Rosa Church. Please join us as we take a deeper look at the Sacrament of the Eucharist.

GLASSWARE FOR THE DIME PITCH
If you have any glassware such as: glasses, plates and cups, that you don’t use at home, bring them to the rectory and we’ll use them at the Fiesta for the Dime Pitch game. We have someone that can pick it up from your house, just give us a call!

SESION DE ENTRENAMIENTO
DE VIRTUS
Una sesión de entrenamiento VIRTUS para adultos, referente a la prevención de abuso infantil y el mantenimiento de un ambiente seguro para los niños y jóvenes, se llevará a cabo en el Salón Parroquial, el miércoles 27 de mayo de 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM. Todos los ministros, empleados y voluntarios, que tengan contacto con los niños y jóvenes en el transcurso de su ministerio, tienen que haber participado en una sesión de VIRTUS. El entrenamiento será ofrecido en español e inglés. ¡No niños por favor! Por favor inscríbase llamando a la rectoría al (818) 365-3967.

Nuestra Misa anual del Día de los Caídos será celebrada en el Cementerio de San Fernando Mission el lunes 25 de mayo a las 10:00 AM. El Celebrante Principal y homilista de este año es Su Excelencia, Obispo Gerald Wilkerson.

A todos se nos pide ayudar en alguna manera el Fin de semana de Fiesta: ayudar / trabajar en un puesto, ayudar en el establecimiento así como también derribar los puestos, a mantener limpio durante el fin de semana, donar algunos artículos de papel que se usan en los puestos de comida y bebidas, o viniendo a gozar con la familia, amigos y vecinos y socializar el uno con el otro. ¡Si todos hiciéramos esto, la Fiesta sería un éxito magnífico, sí, en la construcción de la comunidad y nuestra unidad como familia de Cristo, sinceramente preparándonos a celebrar la Eucaristía!
