ORGANIZATIONS:

Join Debate! We meet every Monday from 3:30 - 6:00 pmin the ARC. We meet all of semester 1.

Latino Club will be having a potluck lunch onTuesday, Dec. 23rd at 12:10 pm. Please sign up with Mrs. Torres if you are interested.

Yoga club meets on Tuesday after school in the upstairs Pickard Lobby.

Art Club will be meeting in room 420 at 3:20 pm every Tuesday.

Reminder the Culinary arts Competition teams are meeting in room 418 at3:25 on Tuesdays.

SEA Club will now meet on Tuesdays after school. Please plan to meetat 3:25 pmin room 164B.

The Book Club will be meeting Tuesdaysfrom 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm in room 213. We will be meeting every otherTuesday. Please see Mrs. Mettlach if you have questions.

GENERAL:

The Cotton Club is coming! OnSaturday, January 17, the NHS cafeteria will once again be transformed into theCotton Club- the most of famous of New York City’s 1920’s jazz nightclubs - for an evening ofdinneranddancing. Come and enjoy anelegant buffet dinnerand dance to the big band sounds of Neenah High School’s Intermediate and Advanced Jazz Ensembles.Tickets will be $17and will be soldbeginningMonday, January 5. Plan to purchase your tickets early as this event will sell out quickly!

ECO Club will be collecting Christmas lights, extension cords and electronic cables for Lakeview Elementary’s annual light recycling collection. Festive collection bins will be located outside of the Armstrong Office and Student Services.

ECO Club is selling Holiday Scented Pencils in the ARC for $1.00. The proceeds will go toward the purchase of a water bottle filling station.

Attention lifeguards: Is your lifeguard certification going to expire during this school year? If yes, please consider participating in the re-certification class offered onMonday Dec. 29thbeginning at11:30 a.m.This will be the only class offered by Mrs. Vicki Dohr this school year. Please see her for the details. The class will need at least 4 students to run.

The Neenah Parks and Recreation Department is currently accepting applications for summer 2015

part-time employment. The deadline for accepting applications is Friday, February 6, 2015.

Recreation jobs are available in playgrounds, tot lot, baseball, tennis, golf, crafts, archery, tot sports,

operation recreation, and soccer. The Neenah Pool has openings for lifeguards, swim instructors,

concessionaires, and admission controllers. Positions are also open for park & cemetery maintenance workers. Applications, are available and can be completed online on www.neenahgov.org . If you have specific questions, call the Parks & Rec office at 886-6060.

Have you every thought about going on a service trip? This summer you will have your opportunity. Mr. Borchardt will taking a group of NHS students to the Dominican Republic to do service work. If you are interested please stop down to see Mr. Borchardt in room 416 or email him for more information.

BeginningMonday, December 1, the Cardio Room will be open to all students after school from3:30--5:30 PM

Remember, students, there is NO Parking in the back row of Lot "B" (the main lot) when there is snow on the ground! That area is used for pushing snow into when the lot is ploughed.
