Craven Community College is offering the following courses in the spring semester:
Do you want your NC School Aged Credential?
EDU 145 (Child Development 2), Child development 1 is not required first. Child Development 2 is about age 3 and up. This meets on 5 out of 8 Saturday mornings for an hour and 15 minutes per class with the rest of it on line.
EDU 235 School Aged Programs This class is online in the B term which starts in March and goes through May.
You will also need EDU 119 (see below)
Do you need your early childhood credential?
You will need:
EDU 119 Intro to Early Childhood Education. Offered in the spring semester
On line in the A term (begins January and goes through March)
Also offered face to face with an on line portion (Hybrid) on Wednesday morning from 7:30 a.m. to 9:10 a.m. This class starts later in the semester in February and goes through May.

EDU 288 Advanced Issues in Early Childhood Education on line and taken in last semester of EDU courses
EDU 284 Early Childhood Capstone, taken in last semester of EDU courses
EDU 234A Infant, Toddlers and Twos practicum
EDU 271 Educational Technology (must have completed CIS 111 or CIS 110)
