A SENATE RESOLUTION
TO RECOGNIZE AND COMMEND MR. W. T. GLOVER, AN EXCEPTIONAL PUBLIC SERVANT, FOR HIS OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE SOUTH CONGAREE TOWN COUNCIL AND TO THE CITIZENS OF OUR STATE, AND TO WISH HIM THE BEST IN ALL FUTURE ENDEAVORS.
Whereas, Mr. W. T. Glover has devoted his life to public service and to improving the lives of our citizens; and
Whereas, a capable and dedicated public official, Mr. Glover has faithfully served his community for twelve years on the South Congaree Town Council; and
Whereas, Mr. Glover is known for going above and beyond the call of duty in performing his duties as a councilman, often putting the needs of others before his own; and
Whereas, in his time on the South Congaree Town Council, Mr. Glover has seen to great growth and development of the community and its people; and
Whereas, possessing an innate sense of responsibility to his friends and neighbors, he is known by Lexington County citizens as someone who can be trusted to lead the community in a professional, upstanding way; and
Whereas, Mr. Glover’s contributions to the South Congaree Town Council have been immeasurable, and future councilmen are left with an untarnished legacy and vision to carry on; and
Whereas, it is with heartfelt pride that the South Carolina Senate honors Mr. W. T. Glover for serving his community and the State with integrity and perseverance. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate, by this resolution, recognize and commend Mr. W. T. Glover, an exceptional public servant, for his outstanding service to the South Congaree Town Council and to the citizens of our State, and wish him the best in all future endeavors.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Mr. W. T. Glover.
