STARTUP WEEKEND NEW HAVEN 2017 EVENT NOW ACCEPTING REGISTRATIONS
Ubiquitous New Haven Event is Back Reimagined
New Haven, CT, October 6, 2017 –For those who have an idea for the next great product or service, StartUp Weekend happening October 20-22 this year downtown at The Grove, is the place to be. StartUp Weekend is part of TechStars' and Google's global event. Now in its 5th year, StartUp New Haven is one of the most successful of these global events.
Anyone who has an idea and wants to pitch or work on a team, can go from concept to creation – all in just 54 hours. Over the years, pitches have been made by a wide range of people with diverse interests, talents, and skills, from ages 13 to 83. Each year is a unique experience; but all are creative, fun, and a high energy way to meet like-minded participants and compete to win a wide array of prizes such as free co working memberships, marketing consulting, and developer training.Some, such as Applivate have grown into very successful companies.
This year's Organizing Committee Co-chair, Mark Lassoff, President of LearntoProgram.tv says "Because my own business is headquartered here in New Haven, I know there are many talented people with great business ideas who would benefit from attending StartUp New Haven."
